研究方向:

鱼类生态学、鱼类系统学、保护生物学、水产动物种质资源保护学研究。目前主要开展长江上游珍稀特有鱼类的资源保护,重要水产经济鱼类和珍稀濒危鱼类的种质资源评价,以及涉水工程对水生生态环境及鱼类多样性的影响和保护对策等研究。
